USG LEVELROCK®

Premium Poured Gypsum Floor Underlayments

The following Underlayments may be specified from 2500psi up to 8000psi and are walkable 90 minutes after the area has been poured.

levelrock® 2500

LEVELROCK® 3500

LEVELROCK® 2500 offers the highest compressive strength in its class, providing low-thickness applications over plywood subflooring in single-family, multi-family and hotel/motel construction. This underlayment helps maximize sound isolation between floors/units and may be used with a Levelrock® brand sound mat or sound board for improved STC and IIC ratings.

• Pourable before drywall to control moisture and mold

• Installs at rates up to 40,000sf per day

• Applies at thickness of 3/8-in. over concrete, 3/4-in. over plywood to 3-in.

• Compressive strength: 2,500-3,500 psi

• Ideal for wood-frame and multi-family construction

LEVELROCK® 3500 provides superior performance for higher-traffic areas in both wood-frame and light-commercial construction. This underlayment also provides exceptional sound resistance and may be used with a Levelrock brand sound mat or sound board for improved STC and IIC ratings.

• Installs over wood and concrete subfloors

• Meets vinyl-industry commercial specifications

• Applies at thickness of 3/8-in. over concrete, 3/4-in. over plywood to 3-in.

• Compressive strength: 3,500-4,500 psi

• Great alternative to concrete floors in light commercial and renovation applications.

LEVELROCK® 4500

LEVELROCK® Radiant Heat

LEVELROCK® 4500 provides a smooth, hard underlayment surface over concrete slabs, pre-stressed concrete and concrete planks. This underlayment accepts a variety of floor coverings and exceeds commercial vinyl-floor-covering requirements.

• Allows traffic within hours of installation

• Exceptional surface hardness resists indentation

• Applies thickness of featheredge to 3-in.

• Compressive strength: 4,500-5,500 psi

• High compressive strength for commercial, institutional and rehab construction

• Available as early exposure for fast return of trades.

LEVLEROCK® 2500 & 3500 Radiant Heat floor underlayment provides tough compressive and surface strengths for long-term resistance to the trade activity typical of a commercial construction site. This non-shrinking formulation locks radiant heat tubing in place to prevent noise and tube chafing, and it prevents the high temperature of radiant heat systems from breaking down the floor matrix.

• Accepts virtually all types of floor coverings including ceramic tile, carpeting and wood

• Applies at thicknesses of 3/4-in. above tubes to 3-in. or 1 1/2-in. typical over 1/2-in. pex

• Specify Compressive strength: 2,500-4,500 psi

• For electric and hot water radiant heat floor installations in residential & commercial construction.
